I told you in the last news post that an update was coming soon, and indeed, here it is. :) This is sort of an add on to the quieter fire alarm, in that I've added a quieter burglar alarm. It works in exactly the same way by giving a text notification instead of screeching insanely. Enjoy the update, and look for more soon! :)
The quieter burglar alarm works in the same way as the quiet fire alarm, in that it will generate a text notification instead of a screeching nanny sound.
Disclaimer: No sims were hurt (much) in the testing of this hack, but one burglar did have his ego slammed when he went to jail.

Hi everyone! :) I've made some significant changes to the site today. The biggest thing you should notice is that the preview pictures have all been made into thumbnails, and are uniform on (almost) all the pages. (I still need to update the sims 1 pages to comply with the new template.)
This will help dial up users a lot since it will reduce the page sizes by a great deal. I also think that it looks much nicer because the pictures aren't so big and in the way. You can click any of the thumbnails to open a larger preview image of them.
Other big changes were made, but most of those are behind the scenes so you won't notice much except the load times should be much better.
The only oddities is that some pages still aren't functioning fully correctly yet, but these issues should be resolved by tomorrow. Also, some news from the front page got lost in translation, but all downloads pages are fine and fully functional.
I hope you all enjoy the new design, and look for new updates very soon! :)

Are you tired of vampires in your game biting sims you don't want them to? Worried that crumplebottom will get vamped and corrupt your objects.package file? (A known bug.) Well now, you can control how your vampires bite other sims! Choose from three flavors below.
The first flavor (also the one pictured) prohibits vampires from biting any NPCs, no matter what type of lot you're on.
The second flavor only allows your vampires to bite other sims on residential lots, which will prevent Crumplebottom from being bitten as well as any other sims downtown from being randomly bitten.
The third and final flavor will not allow any sims at all to be bitten.
Note that these hacks do not affect the "Influence to Bite" option, so you can still use that if you really want a sim to be bitten downtown or if you want an NPC to be bitten.
Compatibilty Note: This should work very well with any other social altering hack as it only edits the Test BHAV for the vampire bite social, although it may not work with other Vampire Social Altering hacks.
A final note: Another way to prevent crumplebottom from being bitten resulting in a corrupted objects.package is to find your objects.package in your Nightlife folder and set it to "Read Only".

Well let them be killed no more! With this special hack, your coffin is now smarter, and will not let a vampire wake up on their own until it's at least 7 PM. They can, however, still be awakened if they need to go to work or something similar.
Compatibilty Note: This only affects the coffin bed, and should therefore not interfere with any other bed hacks. This is a global hack that affects all coffin beds, but you may need to rebuy the coffin bed for the hack to take effect.

Cloned from a Servo, this skeleton maid will stay around forever and clean your house even if it can�t be cleaned anymore. The only way to get rid of a Skelly? Delete it using move_objects on. You can also make as many Skellys as you want using the gravestone base.
NOTICE: You cannot have a Skelly Maid and a Servo on the same lot at the same time or it will crash your game! However, since you can make as many Skellys as you want, I doubt this�ll be a big problem.

Meet Libby, she is a lovely female adult sim with no custom content, I have used custom default replacement eyes from sugarandcaffeine from MTS2 though but she will look different in your game. I think she requires Uni since I have it installed. The version on the right uses a skintone from Serasims, eyes from Helaene, earrings from XM sims (?) I don't know where the eye liner with the tear came from, I think the eyebrow piercing came from 77 simlane, the eyebrows came from Lyran 2.0 and finally, the hair is from MTS2, it's a new mesh. Thanks to jfade for hosting my stuff :)

Changes to UI Graphics
If you have Unleashed, then you have a new fun little feature to your game. When you're at the neighborhood, sometimes the Loch Ness Monster appears and begins swimming in the bay near the neighborhood, downtown, or vacation isle. If you haven't seen Nessie yet, when you're at the neighborhood, push Ctrl + Shift + C to access then cheat menu, then type nessie. Nessie will appear and swim in the bay. Well I thought it would be fun to replace the Loch Ness Monster with Bob Newbie. The picture below shows the results. If you'd like Bob swimming in your bay, then download the files by clicking the picture below and extract them to C:/Program Files/Maxis/The Sims/UI/Graphics/Nbhd
